The Pandas Meet The Pandoras

There was an all girl group in the area known as the Pandoras (Michelle Marquis; lead guitar, Kathy Kinsella; rhythm guitar, Elysee Thierry; bass and Nancy DiMuro; drums ) that got together at Simmons College about 1965. The similarity of the names and the opposite genders served as a brief novelty. The girls actually released a single, on the Liberty label, of the Teddy Dewart penned song "New Day". Don't confuse this group with the 80s all female group of the same name. This handbill from 1966.
